Solid copper bar ensures maximum current efficiency, reduces heat generation and wasted energy.

Every bar is labelled with its year of manufacture and a serial number, allowing operators to track the cathode’s history.

We will apply your preferred type of edge strip. 2-sided or 3-sided. We supply all major brands and styles of edge strip. If you prefer to install them yourself, we will prepare them to accept your preferred brand.
Custom Features
Fully customizable. We will build your cathode to fit your plant. Customized features include: v-groove, corner notches, side holes, bar dimensions, sheet dimensions, window size and position.

Training - Train your operators how to perform the simplest of repairs
Inventory tracking – by employing the laser marking 2D QR code, we will provide an audit trail of the cathode’s history
Scrap management – We’ll keep track of cathodes that are damaged beyond repair and ensure that you receive the proper credit toward future cathodes
Minor repair service – we’ll clean, buff and straighten your cathode and get them ready to be re-introduced into your tank house.
Replacement program – We can provide you with an automatic replacement program. For any cathode that is scrapped we will provide you with a new one automatically
Sorting – There is a bit of a science to sorting cathodes. We will train your team or a local supplier to properly sort cathodes into the proper repair stream.
Inventory management – Our Tucson location allows us to store and manage our client’s cathode under repair inventory. Our production team will work with you to ensure that we always understand where your inventory is and provide you with the cathodes you need to keep your plant up and running
Packaging and shipping management – We will work with you, or a local supplier to manage the packaging and shipping of repairs to and from a Samuel Mining certified repair facility. We will coordinate the entire process and ensure that you have adequate inventory to keep your plant running
Major repair service – sometimes a cathode needs to be re-manufactured. Because of the nature of our design, we can typically reuse the bar and/or sheet and return your cathode into inventory at minimal costs
